A REFLECTION · DISPLAY & ACCESSIBILITY

Use a smaller set of settings changes

When several preferences change at once, it can be hard to know which one helped. A small, deliberate adjustment makes the app easier to tune to your needs.

Identify the reading or comfort need

When several preferences change at once, it can be hard to know which one helped. A small, deliberate adjustment makes the app easier to tune to your needs.

Adjust the relevant control

Choose one issue, such as reading the timer value, and change the most directly related setting first. Inspect the result in the actual screen before moving to another control.

Accessibility includes Reduce motion, Follow system, Larger timer numerals, High contrast ring, and Bold text. Fastly also follows device text size, so check both app and system settings for the effective result.

Check the real screen

If larger numerals solve the issue, you may not need a different theme or ring style. If motion is the issue, changing the palette does not address the relevant behavior.

Keep presentation and records distinct

This is a practical way to understand controls, not a rule that every preference needs a formal test. Keep the process light and focused on your comfort.

Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
