THE CHECKLIST · GETTING STARTED

A quick post-session check

A post-session check is a chance to catch a missed stop or an incorrect date while the details are fresh. It can be done from the newest item in the Journal tab.

Understand the record

A post-session check is a chance to catch a missed stop or an incorrect date while the details are fresh. It can be done from the newest item in the Journal tab.

Use the controls deliberately

Open the record, read the end date and duration, and correct known timestamp mistakes with Edit times. Add a mood or sentence only if it conveys something you want to remember.

A goal marker compares elapsed time with the chosen hours. It does not measure food intake, nutritional adequacy, or medical outcomes; none of those can be inferred from a filled progress ring.

Check a practical example

If the timer ran long because the phone was elsewhere, save the actual end time you know. Do not leave an inaccurate duration merely because the longer number looks impressive.

Keep the meaning clear

Once saved, the record remains editable through its actions. You can return later to add context, archive it, or review it in the month view.

Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
