A HELPING HAND · HISTORY & RECORDS

Correct a mistaken end date

A session assigned to an unexpected day often has an end date that differs from what you intended. Because history groups by completion, the date matters as much as the hour.

A session assigned to an unexpected day often has an end date that differs from what you intended. Because history groups by completion, the date matters as much as the hour.

Make the smallest useful change

Open Edit times and inspect the end date explicitly. Correct it only if you know when the session actually ended, keeping the end after the start and no later than the present.

Archive is a separate retained collection. Main-history session totals and current rhythm read the main collection, while JSON backup export includes both main history and archived records.

Verify the result

After saving, switch to Month and select the corrected day. The session can disappear from the old day's list because it now belongs under the revised completion date.

Preserve an honest history

The moved calendar marker is a consequence of the correction, not another deletion. Check the record's new location before attempting to create a replacement session.
