Know which records you are viewing
History contains stopped sessions rather than every time you opened Fastly. Start by finding the completion date and duration you remember, then open the record for its detailed actions.
Make the smallest useful change
Choose List for a straightforward sequence of entries. Read the date, protocol, and any mood shown in the row; tap the entry to inspect its note or edit its times.
History groups completed sessions by their local end date. The week chart adds the whole duration of each matching record to that day; it does not split an overnight session across two bars.
Verify the result
An overnight session is usually found on the day it ended. Looking only at the starting date can make a saved record appear missing when it is in the expected place.
| Check | Practical meaning |

Preserve an honest history
If the record is absent, check Archived sessions and clear a restrictive month or day selection before concluding it was deleted. These views intentionally show different subsets.
Time edits preserve the session protocol, goal, note, mood, and optional weight. The controller sorts by end time after saving, so a corrected entry may move while retaining the same contextual information.
A worked walkthrough
Suppose you remember a session from an evening but cannot find it under that date in Month view. Ask whether it ended the following morning. Fastly's completion-date grouping places the whole record on the ending date, so selecting that next day can reveal it immediately. If it is still absent, switch to List to remove the selected-day restriction and examine nearby durations. Then check Archived sessions if you previously organized older entries. Finally, consider whether a backup import replaced the dataset with a copy that predates the session. This progression moves from ordinary view state to actual data changes without modifying anything during the search. Once found, read the action sheet before editing so you establish the identity of the record, not merely a row with a familiar protocol name or rounded duration.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
