SIDE BY SIDE · JOURNALING

Keep a timer log without journaling

A timer-only log is a valid use of Fastly. Start and end timestamps can be useful even when you do not want to record a mood, reflection, or optional measurement.

Give the entry a purpose

A timer-only log is a valid use of Fastly. Start and end timestamps can be useful even when you do not want to record a mood, reflection, or optional measurement.

Write and save deliberately

Start, stop, and review timing as usual. Leave journal fields blank rather than inventing a standard phrase to make the record appear finished.

The journal fields are optional. Mood choices are Calm, Good, Tired, Hungry, or no selection; notes are plain text up to 5,000 characters, and weight is an optional positive number in kilograms.

Use a concrete example

When interpreting such a log, remember what it does not contain. A shorter duration or a blank day has no explanation unless you recorded context elsewhere.

Read the note in context

You can add a note later to an individual session if a specific reason arises. There is no need to retroactively fill every older record before continuing.

Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
