THE CHECKLIST · HISTORY & RECORDS

Review your ledger before a fresh start

A fresh start can mean changing today's settings, reorganizing history, or erasing data.

Know which records you are viewing

A fresh start can mean changing today's settings, reorganizing history, or erasing data. Those are different operations, so decide which outcome you actually want before using a destructive control.

Make the smallest useful change

If you only want a quieter main list, consider archiving selected sessions. If you want a new goal, change the protocol without deleting old records. Export before any full data reset.

Each completed record has its own start and end. A valid correction keeps end at or after start and no later than now; a running session instead uses its stored start and the current clock.

Verify the result

Check that the backup file is saved somewhere you can find again. Keep its date visible in the name so you know which version of the ledger it represents.

Preserve an honest history

There is no need to remove past records just because your current routine differs. Their stored goals and notes can explain the change over time.

Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
