A REFLECTION · CHARTS & PERSPECTIVE

Set a question before reviewing statistics

Statistics become more useful when you decide what you want to learn from them.

Read the metric definition

Statistics become more useful when you decide what you want to learn from them. A narrow question such as “did I correct my missed stops?” fits the recorded data better than a broad judgment.

Inspect the contributing records

Choose one question, inspect the relevant records, and note what the log cannot answer. Use dates and journal context rather than relying only on the overall total.

The seven-day chart adds completed main-history durations by local end date. An overnight session is assigned as a whole to its ending day, and multiple records ending that day are added together.

Check the relevant distinction

If the question concerns app use, a pattern of corrected timestamps may suggest a simpler review routine. If it concerns health effects, the timer data alone cannot resolve it.

Interpret within the data limits

Finish the review when you have the information needed for that question. There is no requirement to maximize every number shown in the app.

Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
