A REFLECTION · JOURNALING

Use a two-line reflection format

A compact reflection can separate the event from the next practical question. Two lines are often enough: one for what happened, one for what you want to consider next time.

Give the entry a purpose

Write and save deliberately

In the note, write “Context:” followed by a concrete detail, then “Next time:” followed by a small logistical question, such as whether a reminder would be useful.

A note may record uncertainty, context, or a change of plan. These are self-reported descriptions, and neither the text nor a mood label establishes a medical result or a cause-and-effect relationship.

Use a concrete example

This preserves the difference between an observation and an intention. The second line is not a promise or a requirement to repeat the same duration.

Read the note in context

Fastly does not interpret these headings automatically. They are a personal writing convention inside plain text, useful only if they make the note easier for you to read.

Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
