Give the entry a purpose
A useful session note gives future you one piece of context that the timer cannot store on its own. It need not be a full diary or an explanation for every decision.
Write and save deliberately
Open the session's Notes, mood & weight action and write a concrete observation such as “finished later because the meeting ran over.” Save it, then reopen if you want to verify the wording.
The journal fields are optional. Mood choices are Calm, Good, Tired, Hungry, or no selection; notes are plain text up to 5,000 characters, and weight is an optional positive number in kilograms.
Use a concrete example
The sentence links the duration to an event without claiming the event caused a physical effect. This makes it easier to interpret an unusual record during a later review.
| Check | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Useful note | One specific piece of context |
| Optional field | Can stay empty |
Read the note in context
Leave the note blank when there is nothing useful to add. More text is not inherently a better log, and the app's optional fields do not need to be filled for completeness.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
