Know the data boundary
A lost phone puts the local ledger and any files on that device out of reach. Focus on copies you deliberately exported, rather than expecting a sign-in to recreate the records.
Use the supported file workflow
Locate a saved JSON backup in a destination you can still access. On the replacement device, install Fastly, import that file, and verify the period of history it contains.
Erasing local data does not delete files you previously exported. Reinstalling or changing devices can remove access to local records, so verify a saved backup before those actions if you want the ledger to remain recoverable.
Check the copy you actually have
The backup's age determines the recoverable data. Any newer sessions that existed only on the lost device are outside that file's contents.
| Check | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Available copy | Previously exported backup |
| Missing period | Changes after that export |
Manage each retained copy
Device security and recovery controls belong to the phone and the services you use. Fastly does not provide remote account recovery or a custom-server copy of the ledger.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
