Know the data boundary
Exporting changes the boundary of the data: information that normally stays in the app becomes a file sent to a chosen destination. Review the full scope of that file before sharing.
Use the supported file workflow
Remember that main history, archived sessions, notes, mood, optional weight, and settings may be included. Remove information you no longer want in the current dataset before making a new export.
Import replaces the current local dataset rather than merging it. Export first if you want to retain the current copy, and review the file date before confirming Replace local records.
Check the copy you actually have
If you only want to show a simple progress value, a PNG image may meet the purpose with less information. Check the preview and destination in either case.

Manage each retained copy
Editing the app after an export does not rewrite that file. Treat each exported copy as its own retained version of the personal data.
