Understand the record
A busy day can make exact tapping times easy to miss. A useful record distinguishes the time an event happened from the time you remembered to open the app.
Use the controls deliberately
Correct the start or completed times when you know them. In the note, explain a meaningful uncertainty such as “start is approximate” rather than silently treating an estimate as exact.
A goal marker compares elapsed time with the chosen hours. It does not measure food intake, nutritional adequacy, or medical outcomes; none of those can be inferred from a filled progress ring.
Check a practical example
Later, when a bar or duration looks unusual, that short note can explain the situation. It preserves context without requiring an extensive diary entry.
Keep the meaning clear
Accuracy does not require documenting every minute. If the event cannot be reconstructed, keeping a clearly qualified record may be more useful than repeatedly adjusting it to look tidy.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
