Know which records you are viewing
A calendar day can contain more than one completed record. Fastly does not assume one entry per day, and the weekly chart sums the durations of records ending on that date.
Make the smallest useful change
Select the day in Month view to see the relevant entries. Compare each start and end if the total looks larger than expected, particularly when several short records share a protocol.
History groups completed sessions by their local end date. The week chart adds the whole duration of each matching record to that day; it does not split an overnight session across two bars.
Verify the result
The number of sessions and the number of marked days are different counts. Three records on one day can produce one calendar marker and three entries in the list.
| Check | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Calendar marker | At least one session that day |
| List entries | Individual completed records |
Preserve an honest history
Multiple entries are not automatically errors. Determine whether they reflect separate events, tests, or accidental repeated recording before editing or removing any of them.
Time edits preserve the session protocol, goal, note, mood, and optional weight. The controller sorts by end time after saving, so a corrected entry may move while retaining the same contextual information.
A worked walkthrough
Suppose a selected calendar day shows three entries. Open each to establish whether they describe separate events, an interface test, or a recording mistake. Add their durations only if your question is the same one the weekly chart answers: total saved session duration assigned to that end date. The chart does not decide whether separate records overlap or whether one is unwanted. A calendar marker also does not multiply with each entry; it tells you that the date has records. If one of the three is a known test, label and organize it deliberately rather than deleting the entire day's history. If all are accurate, the larger daily total may simply be the sum of several records. This keeps count of entries, count of dates, and duration as three distinct quantities rather than interchangeable measures.
