Understand the selected surface
A widget can make timer information visible to someone looking at the Home or Lock Screen. Consider that display choice separately from the fact that records are stored locally.
Set it up or export deliberately
Inspect the actual widget and where it appears. Decide whether its visible timer context is appropriate for the device's usual environment, then remove or relocate it if desired.
The Share screen exports a PNG for Session, Rhythm, or This week, with Square, Story, or Landscape proportions and 1080 px or 2160 px width. Preview the selected quantity before choosing a destination.
Check what is actually shown
The main journal is not the same surface as the timer widget, but local storage does not prevent a person with access to the device from viewing information the device exposes.

Respect the display and file boundary
Use your device's access and lock-screen controls according to your preferences. Fastly does not add an account-based permission system around a widget view.
