Understand the record
Stopping is the action that turns a running session into a completed history record. Reaching the goal on the display does not perform this action for you.
Use the controls deliberately
Check that you are stopping the intended session, use the stop control, and then open the Journal tab. The newest completed record should show its duration and protocol with the end date.
Fastly keeps one current session, then adds a completed record to History when you stop. The record includes its own protocol and goal, so a later default choice can coexist with earlier settings.
Check a practical example
If you stopped later than intended because you forgot the app, use Edit times on that record. Correcting the end is clearer than keeping a knowingly overstated duration.
Keep the meaning clear
The journal remains optional after stopping. You can save a short mood or note now, add it later, or leave those fields empty without invalidating the timing record.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
