Decide what cue you want
Checking notification controls does not require creating misleading session records. Begin with permissions, switches, and local time settings before performing a real-world delivery check.
Check the relevant settings
Choose a genuinely relevant future reminder rather than repeatedly backdating timers to force alerts. Note the expected instant and whether it falls inside quiet hours.
The controller cancels old goal and start schedules before computing the relevant new ones. Goal changes and start corrections resynchronize reminders from the current session data and current quiet-hour settings.
Understand the timing distinction
If you do create a clearly labeled interface-test session while learning controls, archive or delete it deliberately afterward so it does not confuse later chart review.
| Check | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Configuration check | Permission, switches, quiet hours |
| Test record | Label and organize deliberately |
Keep control of the routine
A single successful alert does not guarantee exact delivery in every future battery or focus condition. The app's own timer remains the reference for the stored record.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
