Know which records you are viewing
A missing session is easiest to investigate by narrowing the possibilities. Start with view state, then record placement, and only then consider data replacement or deletion.
Make the smallest useful change
Check Today, List, the correct end-date month, and Archived sessions. Recall whether you recently imported a backup, cleared app data, reinstalled, or deleted the entry.
The month calendar can filter the list to a selected day. Tapping that selected day clears the selection; changing months also clears it, so always read the list heading before assuming records are absent.
Verify the result
Importing an older backup replaces the local dataset rather than adding old records to newer ones. A session created after that backup date will not be present in the restored file.

Preserve an honest history
Stop changing data while investigating. An existing newer backup may be useful, but importing files repeatedly can make it harder to understand which copy you are viewing.
