Adjust the relevant control
Read the message, reopen the relevant settings page, and inspect the current toggle or selection. If the app reports storage trouble, check device space before retrying.
Appearance offers System, Light (Paper Studio), and Dark (Quiet Orbit), plus Minimal orbit. These choices affect the visual presentation and do not alter session timestamps, journals, or completed-history ordering.
Check the real screen
Avoid reinstalling or erasing the local ledger just to fix one preference. Export a backup before any action that could remove the records you want to keep.
