Understand the selected surface
The Share screen renders its preview to a PNG before handing it to the system share sheet. A failure here concerns that image workflow rather than automatically implying session-data loss.
Set it up or export deliberately
Return to Share, confirm the preview is visible, and try exporting again. If needed, choose 1080 px and a suitable format, then check the destination's ability to receive the file.
The Share screen exports a PNG for Session, Rhythm, or This week, with Square, Story, or Landscape proportions and 1080 px or 2160 px width. Preview the selected quantity before choosing a destination.
Check what is actually shown
Verify History separately if you are concerned about records. Repeatedly starting or stopping timers is not a useful way to repair an image-rendering or destination problem.
Respect the display and file boundary
Do not erase local data to clear a failed share. Preserve a JSON backup before any reinstall or reset you independently decide is necessary.
