A HELPING HAND · CHARTS & PERSPECTIVE

When the weekly total seems too high

A high total can come from more than one completed session per day, a forgotten stop, or an end date you did not expect. Begin with records rather than the bar's appearance.

Read the metric definition

A high total can come from more than one completed session per day, a forgotten stop, or an end date you did not expect. Begin with records rather than the bar's appearance.

Inspect the contributing records

Check individual durations, especially any much longer than usual. Review end dates and whether several entries belong to the same day. Consider recent restores from the archive.

Main-history summaries exclude the active session and archived records. Editing, archiving, restoring, deleting, or importing records can therefore change a chart without any new session having occurred.

Check the relevant distinction

If records are accurate, the total may simply be the sum the view is designed to show. If one is wrong, repair that session directly rather than deleting unrelated entries.

Interpret within the data limits

Do not expect the chart to split overlapping or overnight records into a deduplicated daily timeline. It adds whole session durations according to the saved ledger.
