Give the entry a purpose
Travel notes are most useful when they describe the particular disruption: a changed local time, a missed reminder, or an estimated start. The word “travel” alone leaves those distinctions unresolved.
Write and save deliberately
Write the relevant date context and what you corrected, if anything. Keep unnecessary itinerary details out of the note when they do not help interpret the session.
Archived sessions retain their journal fields and are included in JSON backups. Moving a record out of the main list therefore does not remove its private wording from the device or from a new export.
Use a concrete example
A note such as “display reviewed after arriving in a new time zone; no time correction” can prevent a later reader from mistaking a date change for data damage.
| Check | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Useful detail | What changed about recording |
| Unneeded detail | Private itinerary information |
Read the note in context
Remember that the note travels into a JSON backup. Avoid including booking references, addresses, or other identifying details merely to explain a routine timing issue.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
