Understand the selected surface
The iOS Lock Screen option gives the timer a compact circular presentation. Fastly's guide lists this alongside its Home Screen widgets for supported mobile devices.
Set it up or export deliberately
Customize the Lock Screen, open its widget area, and add Fastly's circular timer. Inspect the actual displayed information rather than expecting all details from the main app to fit.
The iOS guide specifies iOS 17 or later, Small or Medium Home Screen widgets, and a circular Lock Screen option. Android uses the Home Screen widget picker; this desktop release instead recommends the resizable app window.
Check what is actually shown
Tap through to Fastly to inspect the full current session or perform a recording action. A small ring is not a complete substitute for start, goal, and elapsed context.

Respect the display and file boundary
Consider what you are comfortable showing on a visible Lock Screen. Widget placement is your choice, and the operating system controls how and when its view refreshes.
The Share screen exports a PNG for Session, Rhythm, or This week, with Square, Story, or Landscape proportions and 1080 px or 2160 px width. Preview the selected quantity before choosing a destination.
A worked walkthrough
Imagine adding the circular timer to a Lock Screen that already contains other compact widgets. Inspect whether the ring and its limited context are useful at that size, and decide whether you are comfortable with the visible information in the device's usual environment. Tap through for a deliberate check of the full start, goal, and elapsed display. A compact circle cannot show every detail in the journal or history, and it should not be treated as a complete session report. If a ring appears full, open the app to distinguish goal reached from an actual saved end. Refresh behavior is also separate from the in-app clock calculation. You can remove this surface without erasing the ledger or changing reminder preferences. Its role is a chosen access point and glanceable view, with device lock-screen and visibility controls managed through the operating system.
