Understand the selected surface
Share formats change the image's aspect ratio: Square is 1:1, Story is 9:16, and Landscape is 16:9. The content choice remains Session, Rhythm, or This week.
Set it up or export deliberately
Pick the format suited to the destination and inspect the preview before exporting. Ensure the large value and caption communicate the intended summary within that layout.
Session sharing uses the current session when present, otherwise the latest completed main-history record. The resulting image is static and does not update later when the timer, record, or summary changes.
Check what is actually shown
A portrait Story image is not a different calculation from a square image of the same selected content. It rearranges the same kind of visual information into different proportions.
Respect the display and file boundary
The destination may crop or resize an image after selection. Review its final preview too rather than assuming Fastly's original aspect ratio will always be shown unchanged.
