Decide what cue you want
A changed schedule can leave reminder preferences out of step with your intentions. Review cues as practical settings rather than carrying them forward automatically.
Check the relevant settings
Inspect Start time, Time to start, Goal reached, and quiet hours. Confirm system permission only if you still want alerts, and check whether an active session has the intended goal.
Quiet-hour alerts move to the end of the configured interval. That shift does not alter the start timestamp, chosen goal, elapsed time, or the fact that only stopping creates a completed history record.
Understand the timing distinction
A reminder that fitted a previous shift or time zone may now be unnecessary. Turning it off is a valid adjustment and does not require erasing the old sessions that used different settings.

| Backup restored | Check older settings again |
Keep control of the routine
The settings stored in a backup may also reflect an earlier routine. Review them after a restore instead of assuming the restored times suit today.
