Decide what cue you want
A reminder depends on more than its individual switch. Fastly has an All reminders control, separate goal and start choices, a chosen start time, and optional quiet hours.
Check the relevant settings
Review those settings together, then check system notification permission. Also inspect whether Today is active or idle, because the controller schedules goal and start reminders in different states.
Reminders are scheduled locally after permission. All reminders is the master control; Goal reached and Time to start are separate choices. The active or idle session state determines which of those cues is scheduled.
Understand the timing distinction
A goal choice enabled under a disabled All reminders switch does not create a scheduled alert. Similarly, a start reminder is not the same as a notification for an active goal.
Keep control of the routine
Write down the expected alert and the relevant session time when investigating a problem. A clear expectation is easier to verify than repeatedly toggling every switch.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
