Decide what cue you want
A visible notification can be silent by design. Fastly's goal chime is optional and off by default, while device sound and focus settings can impose additional behavior.
Check the relevant settings
Check Sound & haptics for Chime at your goal, then inspect the operating system's notification sound settings for Fastly. Confirm whether the issue is silence or a notification that never appeared.
Reminders are scheduled locally after permission. All reminders is the master control; Goal reached and Time to start are separate choices. The active or idle session state determines which of those cues is scheduled.
Understand the timing distinction
On Android, reminder delivery uses sound-related notification channels, so system channel settings can matter independently of the visible app switch. Reopen the app after adjusting the relevant choices.
