Separate Fastly quiet hours from system focus

Fastly's Do not disturb setting moves its own scheduled alerts to the end of a chosen interval.

Decide what cue you want

Fastly's Do not disturb setting moves its own scheduled alerts to the end of a chosen interval. The operating system's focus or do-not-disturb features control device-level presentation more broadly.

Check the relevant settings

Review the app interval when an alert's intended time changed. Review system focus settings when an alert was hidden, grouped, or silent despite being scheduled outside the app interval.

Reminders are scheduled locally after permission. All reminders is the master control; Goal reached and Time to start are separate choices. The active or idle session state determines which of those cues is scheduled.

Understand the timing distinction

Both layers can apply to the same reminder. Disabling one does not prove the other is inactive, and neither changes the saved session's start or goal.

Keep control of the routine

Use a simple written expectation while troubleshooting: goal instant, app-adjusted instant, then actual visible arrival. This separates the scheduling question from the presentation question.

Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
