Understand the selected surface
Fastly excludes the journal from its progress image, but the visible summary can still be personal. Previewing lets you decide whether that selected value and caption are what you intend to disclose.
Set it up or export deliberately
Check the content choice, duration or day count, format, and destination. If you are sharing a screenshot instead, also inspect surrounding app information that would not appear in the built-in PNG.
The iOS guide specifies iOS 17 or later, Small or Medium Home Screen widgets, and a circular Lock Screen option. Android uses the Home Screen widget picker; this desktop release instead recommends the resizable app window.
Check what is actually shown
A full JSON backup has a broader scope and includes readable journal information. Do not select it accidentally when your purpose is only to show a simple visual.

The share sheet gives you the destination choice; it does not decide whether that destination is appropriate. Review the selected recipient or folder before completing the transfer.
