Understand the selected surface
Rhythm creates an image from the Current rhythm day count. That number follows Fastly's consecutive goal-met end-date rule, so it is narrower than a general statement about every day in your life.
Set it up or export deliberately
Select Rhythm in Share and read the caption. If the number surprises you, inspect qualifying main-history sessions and their saved goals before exporting.
The Share screen exports a PNG for Session, Rhythm, or This week, with Square, Story, or Landscape proportions and 1080 px or 2160 px width. Preview the selected quantity before choosing a destination.
Check what is actually shown
Archiving, time edits, or differing goals can affect this count. A rhythm image therefore summarizes the current ledger rather than certifying a behavior independently.
| Check | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Rhythm value | Consecutive qualifying dates |
| Context | Depends on goals and retained records |
Respect the display and file boundary
Add enough context in your own message if the recipient could misunderstand the number. Do not present the image as proof of a medical outcome or a ranking against another person's record.
Progress images exclude the journal. A JSON backup is a separate, readable file containing the ledger and supported settings, so the two exports have different privacy and recovery consequences.
A worked walkthrough
Imagine sharing a rhythm count after changing goals during the period being summarized. Each qualifying date depends on at least one main-history session meeting its own saved goal, so the count reflects those settings as well as recorded ends. Another person's count, or your count from a different routine, may use different thresholds and recording coverage. If you send the visual, describe it as your app's current rhythm summary rather than a standardized measure of effort or health. Check whether recent archiving or time corrections changed the dataset before treating a difference from an older image as a new event. The image excludes notes that might explain these changes, which is useful for privacy but limits context. A concise accompanying description can clarify what the number represents without disclosing the full ledger or implying more than the software actually calculates.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
