Understand the selected surface
The built-in PNG deliberately excludes journal fields. This makes it a more selective option than a full backup when you only want to show a session value, rhythm, or recent-week summary.
Set it up or export deliberately
Choose the content on Share, inspect the image, and send that PNG to the intended destination. Avoid attaching the JSON backup unless you actually mean to disclose the full ledger.
Widgets read this device's timer, and tapping one opens Fastly. The operating system controls refresh timing, so open the app when you need the latest detailed progress or want to change a session.
Check what is actually shown
A screenshot of a journal dialog would include its visible text even though the built-in progress image does not. The method of sharing determines what information is present.
Respect the display and file boundary
Selective sharing still deserves a preview. A duration or count can be personal even without notes, and the recipient or service may retain the image once sent.
