Decide what cue you want
The All reminders switch is a convenient way to pause Fastly's scheduled cues while keeping your timer and journal workflow available. You do not need to delete records to get a quieter app.
Check the relevant settings
Open Reminders and disable All reminders. The controller cancels existing goal and start schedules when synchronizing, while your individual choices remain settings you can review later.
Quiet-hour alerts move to the end of the configured interval. That shift does not alter the start timestamp, chosen goal, elapsed time, or the fact that only stopping creates a completed history record.
Understand the timing distinction
When you want alerts again, reenable the master control and inspect the relevant individual switches, start time, and quiet hours rather than assuming every previous choice still suits you.
Keep control of the routine
A quiet period from notifications need not change your goal or your historical data. Choose each part of the workflow independently.
Notification delivery also depends on the operating system, permission, battery restrictions, and presentation settings. Fastly's timer reads the device clock; an accurately calculated duration does not guarantee an exactly timed alert.
A worked walkthrough
Imagine you are changing your schedule for a trip and want no Fastly cues during the transition. Disable All reminders rather than deleting sessions or inventing a quiet interval to cover the entire day. The individual goal and start preferences can remain available for later review, but the master control prevents their scheduling when reminders synchronize. Continue using the timer manually if useful, or leave the app idle; neither choice requires a notification. When you return, inspect the selected start clock time and quiet hours before reenabling the master control. Old settings may be accurately saved yet inconvenient in the new local routine. This approach separates a temporary preference about cues from permanent decisions about records. Your historical notes and timestamps remain available to explain the transition without needing a continuous alert schedule.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
