Decide what cue you want
A flexible routine can include cues without treating every cue as a commitment. The useful question is whether a reminder helps you make a deliberate recording choice.
Check the relevant settings
After a few uses, reflect on whether the chosen time is convenient and whether the alert adds information you need. Adjust one relevant setting rather than overhauling the whole log.
The notification service skips scheduling instants that are already in the past. A goal can therefore be reached in the app without a new retrospective alert after a start correction or goal reduction.
Understand the timing distinction
If you dismiss the same cue repeatedly because circumstances changed, disabling it may be the simplest response. Your session history can remain intact while the reminder workflow changes.
| Check | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Useful cue | Supports a deliberate choice |
| Changed circumstances | Revise or disable it |
Keep control of the routine
Fastly cannot determine that a reminder time or fasting goal is personally appropriate. Keep the notification in the role of an optional tool rather than a source of authority.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
