Decide what cue you want
A filled ring and a delivered notification use related but different processes. The ring compares elapsed time with the goal, while notification delivery also involves quiet hours and the operating system.
Check the relevant settings
Check whether the calculated goal instant fell inside Fastly's Do not disturb interval. Then inspect system permission, focus, notification, and battery settings that can affect delivery.
The notification service skips scheduling instants that are already in the past. A goal can therefore be reached in the app without a new retrospective alert after a start correction or goal reduction.
Understand the timing distinction
A delayed alert does not extend the goal or change the recorded start. The timer can continue to display goal reached while the operating system delivers a queued reminder later.

Keep control of the routine
Use the in-app timestamps to understand the record. Do not edit them merely to align a session's duration with the moment a notification became visible.
Fastly is a lifestyle timer and journal. These notes explain the app and offer reflection prompts. They are not medical advice or a prescribed eating schedule.
