A HELPING HAND · GETTING STARTED

When a shorter goal fills the ring instantly

A ring that jumps after a protocol change can be working correctly. Progress is elapsed time divided by the current goal, capped at a full ring.

Understand the record

A ring that jumps after a protocol change can be working correctly. Progress is elapsed time divided by the current goal, capped at a full ring.

Use the controls deliberately

Check whether the selected hours changed. If the session already exceeds the new goal, Fastly immediately displays goal reached while keeping the same start timestamp.

Completed records can be edited through History. An end must follow its start and cannot be in the future; the controller reorders history after a valid correction so the list follows completion time.

Check a practical example

For example, reducing a goal below the already recorded elapsed time changes the marker without adding time. Review elapsed separately to see that the underlying duration is unchanged.

Keep the meaning clear

If the goal change was accidental, select the intended duration again. Do not edit the start solely to force the ring back to the position you expected.
